I am a retired Marine who now works with low income kids and assist them with the process of getting into post secondary education.
After my retirement I went back to school to obtain my bachelors degree. During my undergraduate I took an Art class and that was the beginning of a way different path that I was considering. I fell in love with the concept and decided to change majors and go for a BFA. I continued my education and received a Masters in Art Education.
I did teach Digital Photography, Art and printmaking at the High School level for a couple of years, but felt that I could get more out of what I wanted to do as a college coordinator instead.
Since I was no longer under the rules of the school district, I felt excited about building and expanding my artist abilities as much as possible. Under my own rules.
My art is usually eclectic in nature. I am currently working with what is given to me. This, I guess makes me a recycled artist, since I do enjoy utilizing materials and reenergizing them is different ways to be utilized.
