I love to forge and manipulate metals into organic shapes and designs when creating jewelry. Copper, bronze, brass, and silver are my metals of choice. Pearls are used as an accent on many of my designs, but I may also use other semi-precious stones.
My work will sometimes use basket-making techniques, or fold forming, a modern approach to forging. Colors and different patinas fascinate me, and sometimes lead my work in a different direction. I primarily create necklaces, earrings and forged bracelets for shows, but I also create commission pieces for a special occasion.
My jewelry may be purchased at the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno, NV. I am looking forward to participating in more shows in the Northern California area in 2018.
