She has a passion for the natural world, sustainability and environmental responsibility. This agenda, coupled with a love of drawing and writing made picture book writing/illustrating a great fit for her. Her audience is young, ages 4 to 8. Rita hopes that instilling a love of the nature, endangered animals in their habitats, and global ecology will ensure that her readers will join the fight to preserve all this when they grow up.
