Nashville GAB

It is uncommon when you come across someone who is already a "star" in his or her own right, but relatively unknown otherwise. I'll start off with saying I love, love, love her sound, and her music choices for this CD, "Movin' On". Her voice is unique, in that she has a natural talent for blending blues, pop, and country together that is all her own sound.                                        NASHVILLE GAB

WHAT THE MEDIA IS SAYING ABOUT EILEEN CAREY

WHAT THE MEDIA IS SAYING ABOUT EILEEN CAREY

California vocalist Eileen Carey deftly mixes pop and country influences on her new CD, inserting in her leads a clarity and edge that’s both refreshing and insightful…top numbers include a sparkling version of the Keith Urban/Vernon Rust number, “That Was Her, This Is now,” which rivals “He’s Not Mr. Right He’s Mr. Right Now” and “Out With The Girls” as tunes whose tone and direction will be most appreciated by the hardcore faithful. Carey’s approach and style on “Do I Dare” and “What Goes Around” shows that’s she’s able to extend her idiomatic range but still reflect the story-telling acumen and authority necessary to ensure country credibility.      NASHVILLE CITY PAPER

Eileen Carey has come a long ways in her maturity as a vocalist.  True to her song-title 'That Was Then This Is Now', the tune metaphorically gives her a re-introduction into her music. The production on her album also has given her a chance to focus on her ability as a singer as well as an original artist.                              NASHVILLE COUNTRY CLUB
