My grandmother taught me to sew and crochet when I was 8 years old. Of course, there was a lot of scarves and single crochet blankets. It wasn't until I had kids, 35 years ago, that i picked it up again. At first it was just a passing hobbie but as our house got larger, 3 bio kids, 3 adopted boys, 2 foster boys with disabilities, 3 grandkids and 2 dogs, that I decided that crocheting and sewing was my happy place. Well, now I am in my happy place more than not. I have taken to selling online and at festivals and bazaars!
