I'm an interfaith minister, and as part of my spiritual practice, I take daily walks through the parks, forests, and city streets near my home. If I'm open enough to my surroundings and to the present moment, I often fall into a light trance, where eveything seems beautiful. It's a sweetness so extreme that I feel compelled to photograph all that inspires it. My photos, then, are reflections of a personal and more sublime state than that in which I normally attain.
