Rabbi Samuel Waldman is a distinguished educator who has made significant contributions to the field of religious education. His journey in this field began at a young age when he was exposed to the teachings of Horav Hagoan Rabbi Avigdor Miller ZT"L, which helped shape his religious outlook. Over the years, Rabbi Waldman has been blessed to learn from many prominent scholars, including the former Mashgiach of Mirrer Yeshiva, Horav Haganah Rav Don Segal shlit"a, with whom he developed a strong relationship.
After four years of dedicated study in a Kollel of Mirrer Yeshiva, Rabbi Waldman was invited to join the Kollel at Belle Harbor, which was under the guidance of Rabbi Levi Dicker zt"L and Rabbi Chaim Zelikovitz Shlit'a. Although initially, it was planned that he would eventually take up the position of Mashgaich of the High School, his exceptional abilities earned him the post in just two years.
During his tenure at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe, where he taught for 11 years, Rabbi Waldman made a lasting impact on many students with his exceptional teaching skills. He also taught at Camp Torah Vodaas, where he was able to share his knowledge and experience with even more students.
In addition to his teaching work, Rabbi Waldman has taken on a major writing project that focuses on Proper Prayer. This project, which is almost complete, explores why Orthodox Jews devote so much time to prayer every day and what they hope to achieve through it. The aim of his writing is to provide a deeper understanding of the significance of prayer and its transformative power.
Although he has retired from teaching, Rabbi Waldman remains dedicated to Torah learning and has rejoined a morning Kollel. Along with this, he has started a business selling specialized herbal supplements for bladder control, and he plans to launch a Mental and Cognitive strengthening supplement soon, which will be made from high-quality Aloe Vera.
In summary, Rabbi Samuel Waldman's passion for education, writing, and business has led to a significant impact on the Jewish community. He has left an indelible mark through his contributions to religious education, and his work continues to inspire others to strive for excellence in all aspects of life.
