Sandrea-Elegantly Casual Jewelry
Background/Biography:
Created Sandrea when a 16 year old daughter and her mother started beading (mostly the mother).
Initially goal was to have jewelry in all Big 10 consignment shops as we lived in Iowa and moved to Michigan in 1996. Sold a few pieces in consignment shops in Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota. Moved to Seattle, then Arizona, and finally Oregon. Have collected beads in Iowa, Michigan, Seattle, Arizona, and Oregon at bead stores, estate sales, thrift stores and garage sales.
2015-16 goal is to sell elegantly casual jewelry to women and maybe children at craft shows or other venues. The jewelry is made of Czech glass beads ( we are of Czech descent), gemstones, vintage beads, sterling silver and jewelry components from the USA company Tierra Cast. The jewelry is created from the above items with attention to detail, style and care. It is created for all ages and includes numerous colors especially red. The main beader/creator is a wife, mother, grandmother and soon to be retired RN. The daughter is the recipient of many pieces of jewelry, has worn them for over 10 years, and has created the look of the craft booth and begun to do marketing for Sandrea. Seeing others wear our jewelry is fun and rewarding
