...My raw materials are the dials and watch movements from vintage & antique men's and women's pocket watches and wristwatches, and the findings to set them off.....I design and make all the different styles and types of jewelry I make, and I suffer from a low boredom threshold ergo, I am constantly coming up with new designs and ways to use the watch parts.....the era of watches I use is from the 1880s to the 1960s....no quartz, no timex !

I was a vintage watch dealer for 7 years, and have acquired quite a lot of knowledge about watches during those years, and it plays a big part in what I put together...I am well versed in knowing when I watch was made, and many of my pieces have the exact date of it's manufacture    Those old watches have charm and beauty, besides being little engineering marvels, and my jewelry shows that off .....what surprises me is how excited people are about the jewelry, when the old watches themselves had a select few who were interested .....

....MOst of the pieces I make are unique ....there are other folks who make the cufflinks, and I have heard that others from around the country make earrings similar to mine ....but the necklaces and bracelets especially are entirely my designs .....

.....MY work is  NOT what I consider "Steampunk" ....they work with parts of watch movements mostly, whereas I use the entire movement....( as a general rule)  I consider my work to be traditional jewelry made using vintage watches....
