Based out of Detroit, Satellites over Moscow was formed mid 2010 from the best members of various other local bands(Summerwake, Garden Weather, & All Hype) with the intent of bringing together the best local talent. With a combined experience of over 30 years playing and 10 years touring the members are no newbies to the music industry despite their young age.
The music is a combination of various genre styles giving S.O.M. a sound very different from most of what is commercially available today while still appealing to a mass market.
