Scene In Town is dedicated to featuring and covering musicial events outside the major cities. Concentration is currently on the Texoma areas of Texas and Oklahoma, serving an area between Durant, Okla., and Richardson, Texas to the north and south and between Gainesville, Texas, and Paris, Texas, to the east and west. Photographers Mark Bickham and Mary Jane Farmer have been featuring performers ranging in fame from the nationally acclaimed Lady Antebellum to the yet-unknown The Jesse Sims Band at their first public gig. We also feature CD reviews, feature stories, music notes (tidbits), a calendar of upcoming live music events in our area, etc.
