My debut novel "Moving in Stereo" was published in December, 2020 by Calumet Editions. The story follows the troubled tennis professional Richard Blanco as he tries to end his career on a high note. I live in Minneapolis with my family and two dogs.

Kirkus Reviews wrote "Moving in Stereo is a throwback 90s tale with a compellingly dysfunctional tennis playing protagonist. Get it!"

Other accolades:

"A deftly crafted and impressively original novel that will linger in the mind and memory long after the book itself is finished and set back on the shelf." Midwest Book Review

"...Tom Trondson's deep knowledge of professional tennis brings to life the story of a talented but dangerously troubled bad boy..." Nick Bollettieri, internationally renowned American tennis coach

"You don't have to know a tennis racket from a fishing pole to enjoy this lively, funny, scary first novel..." Mary Ann Grossman, St. Paul Pioneer Press.
