I was laid off a few years ago and had a lot spare time on my hands. Many, many years ago I made bracelets and necklaces for gifts for family and friends. I ran across it and I decided maybe this is a way to bring in some income until I found a new job. From there it just expanded. I also was reading a lot and the bookmarks keep falling out of the book. With some thought I came up with the ribbon bookmark idea. Looked through my jewelry supplies I added some accessories to them. I really need something that would hang out the top of the book (just for looks) I found some jewelry wire and started playing around with it. That is when the Wire Spiral was created. It just needed some bling.. My next adventure was A Piece of California Beaches. I love the beach and I walk the shore line for hours. I have always collected Beach Stones, Sea Shells and Beach Glass. I could imagine the Stone and pieces of shell wrapped with wire and made into a necklace. After several days and hours I finally completed one. I went through my many glass jars and started pulling out stones and shell that stood out to me. Each piece that is created is a one of a kind and made with Love.
