I began knitting scarves and hats as a result of my inability to crochet wth needles. My daughter attempted to teach me how to crochet but my first (and last) piece was a disaster. My first row was about 50 stitches long and my last row was about 10. So... I ran out of yarn and when I went to purchase more I saw the knitting looms and they really got my attention so I bought them and became immediately "hooked" you might say. The response to my products was overwhelming by famly, friends and co-workers. I so love making the hats and scarves that I wanted to make some to be worn in warmer months so learned how to make the Ruffle Scarfs and they too are a avery desired item. I had wondered all of my adult life what my talent was and I believe I have finally found it at 52 years old. I donate my items to the nursery at the local hospital and also to cancer patients. I love to "re-gift" my gift.
