YNHH Mammography Van to be at Sisters Sharing Event on September 27th

The Yale-New Haven Hospital mobile mammography van will be at this September 27th event from 8 am - 2:30pm.  Women should call 203-688-1010 to schedule their mammography van appointments. Women must be 40 years of age or older, not have any known breast problems and, not have had a screening mammogram in the past 12 months.  Insured women should bring their insurance card with them on the day of their screening.  Uninsured women will be screened at no charge so long as they provide us with the name, address and phone number of their doctor or APRN to whom we can send the report.  Un or underinsured women without a doctor or APRN, should call 203-688-4562, prior to the actual van day, to determine if they are eligible for the Breast & Cervical Grant Program. If they are deemed eligible, their screening would be performed at no cost to them. Women must be mobile as they will need to climb up three steps to enter the mammography van.

Insurance issues call 203-688=4562 to check eligibility.Come dowm & get tested to be a Bone Marrow Donor with the Silva Foundation you could save a Life!! Meet members of Susan Komen Ct, hear the testimonies of Survivors & family & friends. We believe even if its one person we have helped, its one more than none @ all!! Join Sisters Sharing for a day of Love & Celebration. There will be food, games,vendors ,auction& raffles,dont miss out! See you all there!!
