Songhai Bamboo Roots Association use the arts as a vehicle for strengthening community resiliency, by contributing to the collective, cultural, enrichment of the diversity of the African within the Diaspora, Caribbean, and Africans abroad. A significant component of the festival is the participation of youth and children arts presenters. The festival is not only fashioned for entertainment, enjoyment and excitement but an event for accessing knowledge and information. The festival provides an opportunity for socialization, communication amongst patronages and vendors.
