Southern Mermaid was seeded in 2012 under the name "3thimbles". Since then, the brand has grown and developed into handmade jewelry, clothing and accessories inspired by my travels and need for a creative outlet.
Most of my pieces are influenced by the sea. My family and I have been fortunate to live on the sandy beaches of Hawaii and Myrtle Beach. Both of our little girls were born with sand and saltwater in their hair. We travel a lot with the military and call the southern east coast home.
In this ever changing life of ours, I strive for simplicity. Simplicity in each day and each design. I'm an avid believer in quality over quantity. We should have goods that last and have meaning.
