Spirit in Nature, Aurora, IL
There is a spirit in nature, every tree, every rock, every stream. I believe that my work brings that spirit to life, there is beauty all around us, we only need to see it.
I began this journey because I have mobility issues and I couldn't reach the mountain top on foot, but I could reach it with a telephoto lens. The camera started me on a path that changed my life. All of my art begins as a nature photo and is digitally manipulated into a kaleidoscope of nature.
I do all of my own printing, matting and mounting, all of my work is on photo paper and never poster type prints. All work is printed with Canon paper and ink guaranteed to last over 100 years and the matting is archival acid free.
