A dramatic painting destination for artists is waiting in Springfield, Vermont on Columbus Day Weekend, 2015. “Wet Paint Live” will offer historic and scenic vistas in the “Precision Valley” along the Black River, a storied waterway that winds its way to the Connecticut River. Also named “WPL”, this Plein Air event will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 9:00 to 6:00 PM adjacent to and in concert with the popular annual Apple Festival sponsored by the Springfield Chamber of CommerceArtists will draw inspiration from the meandering river and its powerful waterfalls ( there are three that cascade through the town). Art will be judged.
