Using a chain saw and other hand tools, I create various wood products from local trees that have fallen as a result of the storms we experience in our Connecticut environment. Log end tables, cheese boards, candle holders, napkin rings, serving platters, and coasters are finished using three coats of interior varnish. Log tables / stools have felt bottoms for ease of sliding on hard floors and to protect the floor from being scratched. Cutting boards are finished with butcher block mineral oil that is compatible with food serving. Canes are finished with rubber tips on the bottom to prevent slipping and walking / hiking sticks have whistles for ease of communicating when necessary.
