The Nicholas County Potato Festival celebrates food, friends, neighbors, and potatoes!  This year's event will be held on Sept. 12-13 in downtown Summersville.  There will be entertainment, amusement rides, great food, vendors,car and tractor shows, pet pageant, mashed potato, tater tot and hot wing eating contests, potato display and auction, parades, 5 K race, spud hunt, sack race, potato idol competition, farmer's market, and so much more!
