As long as I can remember, I've been a surf Gypsy. Chasing waves to wade thru, looking for shells and other long lost treasures. Diving through crystal clear waters looking for that something shiny. Brought up an ocean baby, the salt the sea and it's treasures have always called to me as long as I can remember. Although I've been creating jewelry for more than a decade now, there was a time in my life where there was only uncertainty.. too many hours confined to a bed made for a daily mental battle that I was only winning sometimes. I needed a creative outlet to stimulate my mind and allow me to feel productive. I've always had a torrid love affair with jewelry and had been itching To try my hand at learning a new craft. That was it, I was hooked! I began making jewelry from my bed. 10 years and several diagnosis later (including lupus and fibromyalgia) I have had to adapt and course correct to manage my new and ever changing body to allow me to continue to do what I am so very passionate about. Some days I feel wonderful and I layer my jewelry in celebration! Some days I feel terrible and I layer my jewelry as a reminder that I am still a warrior. I adorn my body in armor made of bangles and pearls, and fight like a warrior everyday. Every piece I make, I make for warriors and queens. I hope you feel that power when you wear my jewelry.
