ABOUT THE ARTIST
T.J. Word is an emerging Artist who was born and raised in Carrollton, Georgia and now resides in the Celebration Florida area. While he took up painting as a hobby 12 years ago as a challenge that resulted in his 1st piece, 'Mountain Cabin'. To his surprise, he found that he really enjoyed it and had a natural talent. With no formal training, Jeff began exploring other mediums & styles. Being from the South, his interest quickly turned to the fading rural "Americana". His favorite subjects are old buildings, small town churches and rustic stores with vintage signage, as well as landscapes and still-lifes. Now he has expanded into sports with the release of the "Legends of the Fall" series.
