I had a friend who had garden spiders in her backyard. She loved them so much that she named them. During Christmas I thought it would be nice to give her something spider oriented. I remembered seeing beaded spiders in a local bead shop and went to check if they still had some. The indeed did, but the colors were not that great so I decided to give it a go. I bought $10.00 worth of material and came up with something that was worthy of giving. I had a few extra spiders so I took them to work and placed them on my computer. All the employees had to have one and thus a side business was born. During the years the spiders have evolved into something beautiful that I am very proud of. Friends stretched my boundaries and I started doing jewelry. In 2015 I suffered a horrible aortic dissection and did not work for 6 months. during that time I taught myself how to weave, copper and silver. My work is unique and designed to bring a little happiness into poeples lives without breaking the bank. I hope you like my work.
