Tarara, Leesburg, VA
The Tarara Summer Concert Series began in 1999 on the back deck of the tasting room at Tarara Winery with two guitar players. Today, the Concert Series has grown into an 19-week season, and has become one of the most sought after live music venues in the Washington, DC region.
Bands from all over the United States seek out Tarara Winery to help have their music heard by adoring fans. Music genres ranging from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, Disco, Country, Rock 'n Roll, Yacht Rock, and Classic Rock, are samples of music that grace the stage.
Families, couples, corporate parties, reunions and birthday parties are just a sampling of the types of crowds that visit the concert venue at Shadow Lake each Saturday night during the summer.
Attendees may purchase food and beverages from one of the food trucks onsite or they may bring their own picnic. No outside alcohol is permitted per ABC regulations, but there is wine and beer available for purchase.
The Tarara Summer Concert Series starts on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and goes through the last Saturday of September. There is a band for everyone, so bring a friend or two and experience how summer nights are done right at the Tarara Summer Concert Series.
Tarara Winery is located about 15 minutes north of Leesburg, VA off of Lucketts Road, situated on 475 acres, and has plenty of parking for vehicles, tour buses, and even canoes and paddle boards with access to the Potomac River.
