A lifelong nature enthusiast, Teri gathers her creative ideas by spending time outdoors. She paints primarily in oils at her studio in Niwot, Colorado or in Plein Air in the mountains and farmland of the rural areas near her home as well as flowers from her extensive gardens. After graduation from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Fine Art, she pursued a successful career in interior design, but also continued to develop professionally as an artist. Her subject matter includes birds, animals, flowers, landscapes and still life settings.
