Terry Rosenfelder, Wilmington, NC
After Terry earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from NYU, he and his wife joined the the Peace Corps and taught at a middle school in Debre Sina, Ethiopia for two years. After teaching high school art and pottery in New Ipswich, NH for 12 years, he and his family moved to Wilmington, NC where he taught studio art and art appreciation at NBHS in Leland, NC. After retiring from teaching in 2006, Terry has pursued art full time. His paintings are on display at the Wilmington Art Association Gallery, Montage Art and Design, Wilmington, and Murray Art and Frame, Waterford Center, Leland, and at the Bank of the Arts Gallery, New Bern. Since becoming an artist, Terry was awarded a Merit Award (twice), a 2nd in Show, a 3rd in Show, a Best in Show (twice), the Pamlico-Tar River foundation Award, and the Louise and Harold Lane People Prize.
