I have been creating jewelry from semi-precious gemstones and various beads since the summer of 2003. It all started when I found some items in my jewelry chest that needed some simple repair. Since then I have enjoyed the creativity envolved in making something out of my ever growing collection of raw materials.
My creative energies also took me at an earlier age into crochet, knitting, cross-stitch and many other forms of needlework. As a graduate Home Economist it seems only a natural thing as many of these forms were part of my up-bringing and college training.
I have been married to the same man for almost 55 years. He is a retired military officer and as such, we have traveled extensively. We have 2 adult children and three adult grandsons.
I enjoy exhibiting in the local shows whenever possible.
