The annual Labor Day Festival is Canal Winchester's largest and longest running event. What began in 1920 as a small gathering called the Fall Festival, has grown into a local tradition that attracts over 40,000 visitors each year.
The festival offers something for everyone. The food is always the most popular attraction. It is hard to walk through the festival without grabbing something to eat.
The festival has continued to expand its entertainment. Performances from local to regional with country, rock and motown styles will surely provide for a good time.
During the day, activities focus on the kids. There are rides, games, and a beauty pageant. Every evening there are bands for the older crowd. There also is a car show, beer tent and several dozen vendors demonstrating their wares.
The event for all ages is the Labor Day parade. There are hundreds of entries for everyone to enjoy! The parade has state and local entries that everyone enjoys.
