You know how if you really sit and think about it for a bit, there are things your parents or grandparents know that you don't, and you realize if you want them to teach you while they're still around you need to speak up? Well, that's what happened to me about 8 years ago with my grandmother. I asked her how to teach me to knit. I wanted that memory with her, and in my quest to expand my knowledge of the lost arts of hand crafts, I knew this was something I had to do. I was off and running! Then a while back a friend taught me to crochet. I was set! I have always appreciated an item that was hand made, and know that there are many people out there just like me.
I'm married to the coolest guy in the world (17 years), have 3 amazing babies (15, 13 & 3 years old), love life in the country, love creating, love learning, and love being a part of the amazing community of artisians and crafters!
