Hello, I'm Deb Rohr. I'm an artist and photographer living and working in Lakewood, Colorado and I also teach art classes at a local tech school here in Colorado. I am a lifelong artist with formal training in drawing and painting. I have also worked as a motor sports photographer for eleven years but now do mostly studio portraiture work.
I have always found myself doing something creative from folding origami, drawing, painting, taking photographs, making handmade holiday gifts for friends and family, making my own soaps and lotions to ballroom dancing.
Recently, I have found my way back to really enjoying painting with acrylics on canvas. I paint a variety of subjects, but tend to gravitate towards nature and scenery. I do paint commissioned artwork as well.
My studio photography is the celebration of the human physique with a eye towards dramatic lighting but I also photograph family portraits and high school senior photos.
