The Levee Breaking is a support-the-arts nonprofit headquartered in Seattle with projects spanning globally. Drawing inspiration from the Slow Food Movement, we produce creative projects that are locally and regionally focused, intensely collaborative, and geared towards engaging emerging artists and their communities.
The ideal projects succeed by engaging emerging artists and showcasing their work, directly involving and contributing to the larger community, and resulting in increasingly connected and self-aware arts communities.
