The Maasai International Mission is to enhance the international marketplace with unique, high quality products from Africa, and also provides a sustainable income for artisans in Africa. The Maasai works with disabled artisans who are talented in different fields of art work. We also work with women groups that do basketry weaving. This income helps pay for education, food, health care and housing. We encourage customers to learn about fair trade and to appreciate artisans' cultural heritage and life circumstances with joy and respect. We use profit carefully and support local Schools in Nyanza Province-Kenya by paying tution, books etc.
