Immanuel is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At a very early age, he exhibited an interest, as well as talent in music. Although starting out as a percussionist, he gravitated towards flute and saxophones. While in Philadelphia he was thoroughly exposed to and became a part of the contemporary music scene. Immanuel now resides in Atlanta Georgia and is filling the positions of Flutist, Saxophonist, Composer, Arranger, and Leader for The West End Instrumental Ensemble as well as co-leader for the musical group Azanyah. He also is currently performing as a gospel jazz solo artist under the title Immanuel.
