Utilizing an old world technique, I make beads out of 100% rose petals and incorporate them into custom jewelry pieces, creating "memories in jewelry". I repurposes roses, which can hold great sentimental value to many, and rather than just disgarding them, as most of us reluctantly will do, I turn them into cherished heirlooms. Whenever possible, during my attendance at fairs and festivals my rose process may be at a point where I will demonstrate the making of roses into beads. It takes three weeks from the beginning to the point where a rose becomes a Rose Pearl.
