The Wild Hymns are the songs of Megan Woodland and the name of her band with her husband, guitarist Jeff Hewitt and the musicians they play with. The band hails from south central PA and performs and records original modern folk music with tinges of Jazz, blues, Americana, world and rock and roll. With haunting female vocals, beautiful harmony, ethereal pedal steel and spacious electric guitar, the band bends genres and creates unique and at once soothing and provocative, unique and hypnotizing music for their audiences and on their albums.
