The Wooden World of Toys, Atchison, KS
Hello, our names are Jane and Patty, and we would lke to tell you just a little bit about how we came up with the Wooden World of Toys.
First of all, we have been friends for many years and have participated in numerous creative projects during our friendship. In the spring of 2008, we found a new outlet for our creativity by constructing toys as gifts for our grandchildren. Our first toy was a wooden rocking horse.
Then we were given an old, run-down dollhouse with the option to either fix it up or throw it away. Needless to say, we renovated it and made it into a sweet, little, white country house.
By the time the second dollhouse was finished our appetite for creating wooden toys couldn't be stoped, and in January of 2009 we founded the Wooden World of Toys. Our first sale was that sweet, little, white country house that brought us so much enjoyment.
