The Gypsys Call, Maricopa, AZ
Well here I am about to embark on the journey of a lifetime. After a very long and often almost deadly illness this last year and a half, my husband and I have decided to make a long time dream come true by unburdening ourselves of all our cumbersome possessions, and hitting the road in a motorhome full-time. We will be doing shows and open air markets as often as possible. He creates beautiful pipestone ceremonial pipes and carvings, using pipestone from Pipestone, MN, and sumac gathered from our yard in West Central Wisconsin, back when we had a yard of course. I do beadwork, both free hand and loom work, with a native american inspired style. I also create leather bags and ceremonial pieces. And did I mention that I paint buffalo skulls, when I can get them. Lastly I am a silversmith and work with both .999 fine silver PMC and Sterling Silver. This has been my medium for the past 10 years, and I really enjoy it. The bead and leather work is a relatively new medium for me, but feels like I have been at it for years and years. As we travel around the country, we will be creating new pieces inspired by our incredible journey and the sights we will be seeing. Please check back often for new pieces added to our inventory, and happy trails to you. See you down the road!
