Then and now in WY came into being by accident not on purpose. There was no plan, no design, only desire to help a wonderful lady. Elaine is a "pack rat", her home is full of beautiful dishes, Depression glass, nik nak's and tons of costume jewelry from her mother's era when she worked at a dime store selling jewelry in the 20's and 30's. Elaine has a memory and story to share behind almost every piece of jewelry and well, everything in the house can tell a tale of years gone by. It's fascinating and oh so interesting to listen to her.
She wants to downsize and eventually move into senior housing but more than that she wants to help her family and church. Her generous nature and kind heart spurred me into action and I offered to help her go through the house and try to sell everything. We took some things to auction and we had a garage sale. Neither were profitable and she basically gave away some amazing antiques. We've been working on this project now for most of the summer and now it is time to get serious. That is why we are here and why we became Then and now in WY.
I'm not a professional seller. I just play at this making crafts and help people sell their crafts and things. I don't know exactly how to play this game but I do know what honesty and integrity are and that's is what you will get from us.
