I am a working Mom whose children have grown and left home. I found myself with a little extra time and wanted to earn a little extra money. But, I wanted the freedom to choose my hours and commitment. I wanted to start my own business. There are so many opportunities to sell different lines of products; candles, supplements, make-up and cooking pans. But none of those sounded as if it would be sustainable. What would keep a customer coming back to purchase more? Then I was invited to a LulaRoe pop-up. The clothes were comfortable and vibrant. I was confused at the fact I could not order a blue skirt in size 10 if the consultant did not have one. It turns out that there are styles of clothing in sizes that are ordered, but on one knows what the material, pattern or color will be until the shipping box is opened. So, if I became a consultant my inventory would be fluid. And not all the consultants would have the same items. That made sense to me and I jumped in with two feet. I would take my love of clothes (just ask my husband) and create outfits and joy for my customers.
