Gary Gum is a professional registered nurse (RN) and freelance photographer. Gary first became interested in photography during the 1980s as a travel nurse to capture the beauty of the local areas around the hospitals where he worked. His nursing background includes work as an adult critical care nurse, nurse educator, and nursing administrator. Gary holds a Master of Nursing degree from the University of Phoenix and is a trained Faith Community Nurse.
Gary's mission is to improve and enhance the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of individuals of all ages through photography and imagery. Gary pursues his passion for photography through RV trips with his wife, Marie, and their herd of Cocker Spaniels from their vista overlooking the Rio Grande River and throughout the Southwest, Midwest, or wherever their adventures take them.
Gary continues his dedication to the healthcare profession and service to others through his work as the Clinical Services Director for the San Felipe Pueblo north of Albuquerque, NM.
