We are a family owned enterprise, our roots originate in 1918 In Northwestern Ohio. The matriarch of the family raised twelve children on a 100 acre farm outside Bellevue.
The first family business was "The Dew Drop Inn" a roadside
diner and gas station.
My mother was the school dietician in Bellevue and was a noted catering chef.
Martha and I began our first business opening Martha's Cheesecakes in 1970. The cheese cakes were served in numerous restaurants in the northwestern Ohio area.
Our greatest accomplishment was being selected as the provider for cheesecakes for
the Smithsonian restaurants.
After our retirement, Martha and our daughter Cindy began baking breads, pies, and other baked goods for area Farmers Markets in Licking County Ohio.
It was there that we began offering two of our famiy jellies that became sought after items at these markets, BlackberryJalapeno and Cherry Jalapeno Jellies.
These are two of our featured items in our store located here.
Our long time hobby of shell collecting and jewlery creations have also been introduced here online.
