All I want to do is craft! Since retiring after 43 years of working, having the time to create has been a dream come true.
I chose the name Trimmings because of a brief description in the dictionary. "to decorate ". Perfect!
All of my projects are designed to enhance your home, and make you smile. Nothing serious about these pieces. Just made to take you to your happy place.
My favorite items to construct are the buntings and garlands, making up most of my inventory. I have joined the pennants together with homemade bias tape, making these buntings extra special.
The pennants on the buntings are double sided. Most of them have the same material on the front and the back of each pennant.
The Tiny Garlands have laser cut wood pieces I have hand painted or Mod Poged with napkins, and embellished with beads and some sparkle.
The mobiles are comprised of many different elements. Old jewelry, wood, plexiglass, metal, aluminum, and wire.
I also make Suncatchers with a variety of beads, bells, Washi Tape pennants, and crystals.
