Tropical Zen is the name of my art. I am a Florida local, and the art that I make reflects my love for the flora and fauna that abound here. I make table and wall vessels out of the fallen seed pods of the Queen Palm, which are abundant in coastal Florida. They are sculptural and organic, and have drawn me since I was a child. There pieces are gathered, cleaned and sanded, then finished with eco-friendly stains and varnishes. The wall vessels are tropical art pieces that are truly unique. The table vessels have myriad uses, as art in itself, or to hold your business cards and serve up some sushi for your next party.
