I have done Macrame off and on since the early 1970's. When I retired my daughter encouraged me to do more of the crafts I love and to start my own business. Surprisingly I have had a lot of fun! I love to rockhound, looking for precious gemstones and minerals. I decided to incorporate these into my macrame. My Grandfather, (Lakota Sioux), taught me to respect the earth and her abundance. He also taught me how to make traditional Dream Catchers. I use grapevine, sinew and real stones with healing properties. I do not use real flight feathers! I do use turkey or imitation eagle feathers. I also bless and cleanse each piece before offering it. My Dream Catchers and my Macrame Wall Hangings with stones are my most popular. I am excited to introduce my newest art, Native Wood Lamps and Sculptures. I do custom orders and enjoy getting to know my clients and what their needs are to help choose the best design and stone for them.
