Deborah Anderson, Pottery Artist, begins her art with a hand drawn illustration. The illustration is then sgraffitoed on a stoneware Quyle Clay vessel. Each vessels is either hand built, thrown on the wheel, or both; and glazed with homemade glazes. Her illistrations are of Nevada wildlife, flowers, and plants that are very delicate and ever evolving. Her work is influenced by drawings of still life, photos, motifs from textiles, wood cuts, arts and crafts period pieces. Each is a gift to sooth your soul. Custom orders are welcomed.
