Twang Darkly is an instrumental trio performing modal mountain sounds, swampy roots rock, world beat, and psychedelic folk improvisations. Instruments, many of which are built by band leader Michael Futreal, include chromatic and mountain dulcimers, electric gourd, bamboo and gourd flutes, ukulele, guitar, harmonica, bass, and drums.
