I have clay in my blood; it speaks to me in silence, sings to me in the darkness, and guides my hand in the studio. Words are unimportant; it is all sensation, all emotion, all feeling. I am a studio potter who has been practicing my craft since 1988, and I am finally making the step to offer up my work for everyone else. Functional wares are my main focus; I believe these pieces must be experienced completely to be fully appreciated. It is one thing to look at a beautiful sculpture; quite another to hold it, feel it's weight, it's smooth surface, bring it to your lips for a sip of wine or coffee.
