Valiant Vineyards Winery, Vermillion, SD

Valiant Vineyards was the First winery in South Dakota.  Eldon and Sherry Nygaard  starting growing grapes in 1993 and then opened the winery.  "It was a hobby that got out of control" Sherry jokes to wine tasters.  Valiant Vineyards signature wine is the Wild Grape Wine make from the Native North American Grape species Vitis riparia.
