My wife and I started Valley Woodworking, KY 2 years ago in our garage in Pewee Valley, Kentucky. We gather wood from many sources and sometimes the wood literally comes to us as needed. We use poplar, oak, walnut, cherry and sometimes rosewood. We have a rigorous process that includes planing, routing, bandsaw, multiple sanding steps and finally oiling each product. Finally, we make charcuterie boards, cutting boards, coasters, lazy susan charcuterie rounds, epoxy/wood tables and epoxy/wood trimmed pictures. We enjoy working together and making boards come to life. Each board is very unique depending on various grains. Nothing is exactly duplicated due to the wood grain and color.
